Classic Poem

I can this Canaan only view,
The Conquest is reserv'd for you:
From thence I've Samples only brought;
By you the Wonders must be wrought.
I'm much too weak for such a Toil,
Your's be the Glory, your's the Spoil:
Whilst I to Pisgah's Height retire,
See your Success, and pleas'd, expire.
