Viva Cadiz , silver Cadiz,
 Whose walls defy the sea,
Cadiz of the pretty girls,
 Of courtesy and glee!

Good luck to merry Cadiz,
 As white as ocean spray,
And her five and twenty cannon
 That point Gibraltar way!
