Inscribed on "Drunk in the Autumn Woods"

In just an instant mist and cloud
can bring back times gone by:
everywhere, trees all red set fire to the sky!
I ask you, Sir, to get quite drunk
beneath my black brushstrokes
and, lying there, watch frosted forests
twirl leaves down through the air.
