Snowstorm

There lives above in a lonely place
A maiden, free as the winds are free.
Snow-white are her arms, snow-white her face,
She tosses her white thoughts carelessly;—
Falling showers of snow,
Purely and perfectly free,
Lightly and airily blowing
For mortals to see,
She tosses her perfect thoughts
Carelessly, carelessly.
